  1. Cut all pattern pieces out and punch holes.
  2. Create a .25” stitch line around 3 sides of both pocket pieces and punch stitch lines using a 3mm chisel.
  3. Tape or glue the pockets to the back panel of the bag. Punch stitch holes. Stitch. (This step can be avoided if the stitch holes are noted on the pattern.)
  4. Assemble strap keepers. Attach them to each buckle loop and rivet them to the gusset. Be sure to insert the buckle before securing.
  5. Attach one side of the clasp to one panel of the “front”.
  6. Glue 2 “front” pieces together.
  7. Glue or tape “front” of bag to the gusset. Mark and punch stitch holes. Stitch together making sure to back-stitch to secure.
  8. Stitch small strap to the “back” panel of the bag.
  9. Glue “flap piece” to the flap end of the “back” panel. Punch hole for clasp and secure the clasp to the flap of the bag making sure to include the strap.
  10. Glue or tape “gusset” to the “back” panel of the bag. Mark and punch stitch holes. Stitch.
  11. Glue two strap pieces together. Mark & cut the two strap tips to size. Mark and punch stitch holes. Stitch.
  12. Attach strap to body of the bag.
