Step 2 (OPTIONAL): Cut out lining pieces A & C (This ensures no flesh side is exposed except around the crease, but does expose the magnetic rivets.)
Step 3: Mark the stitching lines with an awl or leather pen.
Step 4: Using a stitching chisel punch out the stitching holes. (Be sure to fold over piece D and use tape to stick the leather together while punching out those stitching holes.)
Step 5: Mark and punch out the holes for the magnets on piece B & D (if you're using a liner do not punch holes on B - only on A).
Step 6: Set magnets onto piece B & D (if you're using a liner do not set on piece B only on piece A).
Step 7 (OPTIONAL): Saddle stitch pieces A & B together.
Step 8: Saddle stitch the fold on piece D.
Step 9: Tape together pieces C & D and sew together the pockets (Don't sew the outside yet!).
Step 10: Take the combined C & D piece and stitch onto the combined to A & B piece.

Indigo Laine & Co
Indigo Laine & Co is a small-batch leather goods company proudly rooted in the heart of South Texas. What began in 2016 as a personal challenge—to see if I could create a leather bag—has since blossomed into a thriving business and a beautiful, supportive community. Over the years, what started as a single handmade bag has grown into a full collection of thoughtfully crafted leather goods, made with care, intention, and a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship.
Our storefront and workshop, located at 117 S. Rachal in Sinton Texas, is where every product comes to life. From classic leather handbags and durable wallets to stylish valets, versatile duffle bags, and protective sunglass cases, each item is made by hand using genuine leather and time-honored techniques. We’re proud to create pieces that are not only timeless and beautiful, but also practical and designed to accompany you through all of life’s adventures.
At Indigo Laine, we value quality, authenticity, and community. Our mission is to create leather goods that are as strong and dependable as the people who carry them. Each piece we produce reflects our belief in craftsmanship that lasts and style that never fades. We carefully consider every detail to ensure that our products seamlessly fit into your lifestyle while adding a touch of elegance and durability to your everyday routine.
Our team is made up of some of the most talented and genuine women you’ll ever meet. Each member brings her own unique skill set, passion, and heart to the work we do every day. But we don’t stand alone—behind each of us is a circle of family and friends who cheer us on and support us in countless ways. Their encouragement helps fuel our creativity and commitment to excellence.
Every purchase you make at Indigo Laine & Co supports multiple families and contributes to a growing network of women-driven craftsmanship. We are endlessly grateful for the opportunity to create meaningful, long-lasting goods for women across the country, and we can’t wait for you to experience the difference of truly handmade leather.
